“Without someone to chronicle the events of the past, history simply cannot exist.”

get to know me

Hi, I’m Anna

I’m the curator of Literaria Luminaria. My goal is to create a warm and inviting space where everyone – new readers, avid book lovers, and long-lost story seekers – can discover and share the hottest reads, hidden gems, and diverse or understated reads that deserve a little more love.

IRL, I’m a bit of a “jack of all trades” – historian, linguist, researcher, editor, reviewer, educator, military veteran, wife, mother… my life’s always a bit hectic. However, as I’m sure is true for so many, reading has always been a constant in my life. From huddling under a moonlit window or next to a tiny nightlight to read after my little sister (with whom I shared a room with) fell asleep, to living on my own and beginning to build my own library of physical books, to then reverting back to largely having to read on my phone or Kindle (on the lowest brightness setting) to avoid waking my child… books have provided me an escape into wonderful worlds.
