Okay, so I just finished Lush by Tinia Montford (book one in her California Kings series), and whew—Reese deserves a medal. Like truly, this man is the definition of unconditional love. He shows up, he listens, he supports… all without ever asking for anything but love back.

The premise is fascinating, blending fantasy with historical fiction, and I’m left curious and eager to grab the next book.

The idyllic setting, excellent character development, symbolism, and a love story that feels both real and enchanting make it a must-read for fans of true love, hope, second chance romances, and well-done age gaps.
